This review is long overdue, but I’ve had the pleasure of being a customer of Andre’s Foreign Car Service for about 10 years during my time in San Francisco. If you are looking for a shop with an expert eye, a deep knowledge and passion for cars, that is truly dedicated to the art of automotive repair, who also provides friendly and a personable level of service, this is your place. I know Andre personally and he is truly a gem—he and his entire staff. San Francisco is lucky to have this shop around!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The best auto repair shop in all of SF. Andre is a legend, amazing customer care, amazing service, the most honest guy and a great guy. they work on all types of cars and they even restore classics. i’ve seen some legendary cars in there. must come here!

The guy is easily angered, try not to disturb w questions or suggestions. It's best to come Monday 7:30AM, or you can be postponed for a week. This is 'don't call me, I'll call you' type of guy, try not to bother with calls. They repair by trial and error, I was through 3 rounds ordering/replacement parts but the issue stayed. I doubt it was ever root-caused. In the end, they walked with my $1600, and I walked with my car still unfixed, same issue. Think they may be ok for small jobs.

Been a long time customer of Andres because he runs a honest and fair service shop. He's worked on my Porsche, several Mercedes AMGs, classic cars and more. Customer since 2002.
