Applegate Garage

I have a 2006 Duramax 2500HD diesel truck. with ~60,000 miles on it (yes, low miles). The truck is stock. I was new to the duramax/diesel ownership and committed a newby error. I let my air filter get very clogged for a long time. I started getting turbo errors. Eventually, I had Applegate garage replace the turbo. That was in Sept 2022. 3 years later, the truck is running great. I really liked the service they gave, I felt the cost was more than reasonable (turbo R&R on a 2006 duramax is involved), and the end result was a fine running truck. I appreciate getting such good value on the servicing of my truck. I rely on it a lot.

My car broke down on I80 East and Applegate was the nearest town and Zach and his garage was the nearest garage. Zach is absolutely the nicest and the most honest mechanic I have met. He gave me right advice and kept my car for a week without any charge. The best customer service and attitude who is not even customer. Thank you Zach!

Time and time again, for many years, they have always been the most honest, and helpful mechanics around here. They fixed my father's work truck, and my own car. Very reasonably priced. I wont go anywhere else with my car!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lifesavers at Applegate Garage! We had what can only be described as a highway nightmare—pulling our boat in 95-degree heat when our car suddenly overheated. Stranded with a two-year-old, an elderly dog, and no water left (we’d used it all trying to cool the engine), we were absolutely melting and desperate. By some miracle, we found Applegate Garage on our maps and managed to limp our car into their lot. The shop was absolutely slammed, but then—Zack, the owner, came out and changed everything. He told us he only had 10 minutes, but when he saw me (mom), our toddler, and our old pup in distress, he went straight into Superman mode. He had his apprentice bringing us cold water bottles, cranked up the A/C inside the shop for us, and insisted that getting us safe and cool was h

Awesome shop. I was just passing through on my way to Tahoe when a cloud of white smoke showed up in my rear view mirror. I could not have gotten an luckier with where this happend. I limped it into the Shop and Zack had the issue diagnosed, repaired, and me back on the road within 90min.
