Arcata Hydro-Spray Car Wash

vaccuums work well, but as others have shared the owner is very rude/judgemental. i paid to use the vacuum (multiple times), and he made me move to finish putting everything away that i’d moved while vacuuming. there were 5 other machines open, as i’m conscious to not keeping anyone waiting…

This is the car wash I usually go to because it’s convenient and the only one around here you can do yourself, the change machine works most of the time, and there’s usually a spot open. The only downside is the owner can be Very aggressive and hostile. As I stated earlier this is one of the few self-car washes around here, which is most likely why there isn’t as much business being lost here do to poor costumer service. The rest of the employees seem lovely, I’m hoping there will be new management soon!

This car wash is the best in the county. It's clean and everything works well. It gives you enough time to wash your car without paying twice. I drive from eureka to wash my car here. Idk about the other reviews about owner being aggressive...I haven't experienced that.

I've been here multiple times, with three different cars of my own, and with two others, I had to borrow a car to go camping. I never knew there was a quarter machine at this location. Evertime I have ever gone, I went to the bank. When I've gone before, I used the vacuum multiple times in the same trip and multiple times using the car wash. It's was always over $10. I had to go get quarters for my daughter. Her dog is sick. I got back in my car, and the owner approached my vehicle and demanded the quarters back. For all he knew, I was moving my car to use his machines, but he was correct. It was for my daughter. His stupid sign says not for laundromat. He had no idea why I needed them. The owner is not there 24/7, he cant stop people in the middle of the night, and he shouslnt be appro

The owner shut off the quarter machine and had everyone line up for quarters but when I was up he told me that I could not get any quarters. He stated to me that he remembered my pregnant partner getting quarters before without using them to wash. It felt like he was having a racist tangent because he said to me that "you people need to learn to use the bank for quarters". It was embarrassing and upsetting. I will never go to this place. I recommend another car wash. They have great car wash service at Tetrault car wash on Valley West Blvd.
