ASAP Auto Repair

Have to sit here and pry information out of this place had to call them 5 different times bc they can’t just call me and let me know what’s going on not to mention my car sits there being done and they still don’t call to tell me and I call and ask if they take checks and the answer is yes and then last minute it turns into we don’t wanna take the check place is as unprofessional as they come in terms of communication

ASAP was able to get us in within a couple days of our request and their prices were very reasonable and comparable to other trusted shops we had used. The staff was friendly. It’s a convenient location for anyone who lives or works in downtown.

On my initial visit, I sat in the waiting area in front of their very 90s era television which had Breakfast Club on. Sadly I eventually was called on and went about my way, missing the end of the movie. On my return, same room, same tv of course, Wargames was on. Needless to say, I want to visit regularly just to get my fill of top notch 80s programming. I hope Top Secret or maybe Short Circuit is on my next visit.

When my truck clutch went out while I was 200+ miles away from home, Larry and the crew at ASAP Auto Repair were able to get my vehicle part ordered and get me back on the road in about 24hrs after they looked at it. When I was in a pinch and needed to get back to my hometown these guys took care of me, even though my 2006 Chevy 5-Speed is a bit of a special case as many of the parts have been discontinued. I was able to get on the road and get back home!

After almost 2 weeks of my vehicle being there nothing was done. Had to pick it up and find a different garage. Talked to the gentleman prior to dropping it off, explained the 3 things I wanted done specifically. Gave them a week, no communication, called to check the status only to find out they hadn’t done anything to it. He then tried to tell me of another issue which I knew already and was going to have it fixed at a later date as it wouldn’t be covered by the warranty like the other issues. Was told he would quote the work and reach out to warranty company, and get back to me. 2 more days passed called back on Monday afternoon to find out there was still nothing done. No communication, waste of time… do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Save the headache and the time. Wish 0 stars wa
