At the end of the day, buying cars is a business conversation, but it can’t be understated how much working with good people means something. How I’d sum it up: He wants to make a relationship with you for future sales. THUS, he won’t sell you a crappy car, and will work with you to make sure your concerns are satisfied. During my walk around inspection, discovered some unknown-to-him issues with the vehicle (2008 4runner) and he worked with a price compensation on it, as well as connected me with his network of shops who were able to fix it.
