I had issues with my ABS system on my Bmw 530i. I was told by the Bmw dealer that I need ABS module and can only be replaced and reprogrammed by the dealer. A friend of mine suggested that I visit Autex in Staten Island. I'm so glad that I went to them, because they were able to rebuild the ABS module without having it to be reprogramming by the dealer. It also cost me about 1/3 of what the dealer wanted to charge me.
