I can’t say enough good things about Joe and his team at Auto Air Brake and Muffler Specialists. Joe has been running this shop for over 34 years, and you can tell he takes pride in his work and really cares about his customers. I brought my daughter’s 2010 VW Beetle convertible in for a freon leak. Joe diagnosed it quickly — turned out to be the AC suction line hose. Nobody in Tampa had the part in stock, but Joe has a guy who makes custom hoses, so he got it replaced and recharged the system with freon. I was in and out for $250, which is incredible — it would’ve been at least 3x that at any shop in South Tampa. This is a great old-school shop: honest, fast, and fairly priced. Highly recommend Joe if you want excellent work without the nonsense.
