Auto glass specialist took the time to make sure I understood the process, pointed and outlined any rust that had developed over time. They were extremely careful with the 50+ year old aluminum trim surrounding the windshield. I was previously rejected by 5 other glass companies because of the long and delicate process of replacing the windshield on my 1968 Mercury Cougar.
