My check engine light wasn't just for a map sensor, auto tech found a bad transmission code too. No charge for the check.

Jeff is awesome! Trust me I have called every place for about the last 6 months to compare services and cost. Even though I drive a common car, it is our only car and I am really proactive about maintenance on it. And since its a Ford a lot of Fords want specific fluids or parts like some Asian cars. My first experience at this garage and the owner is the most personable mechanic I've dealt with to date. Very professional and very friendly, and that goes a long way in my book. Jeff had no issues with giving me the breakdown of the estimate for some repairs that my car needed. He briefly explained issues and potential reasons for needed repairs. Also got a very reasonably priced oil change. I'm not from the city, so the labor rate felt kind of high for me; however, I imagine that this is the standard rate for Omaha or pretty close. Worth it if you've got yourself a good mechanic. The turn around time for the vehicle repairs on my car were also great.

Incredibly quick work! Had a problem with my engine dying whenever I made a tight turn, but the check engine light didn't turn on. Was referred to Jeff at Auto Tech. I was afraid my problem was going to be handwaved and told that I was going to have to get a new car, but Jeff and Andrew listened to what I had to say, and found out it was the crankshaft position sensor. Excellent work, excellent service, and SO MUCH CHEAPER than having to get a new car!!
