AUTOCARE

Been there a couple times with different vehicles. So good,so far. No complaints Update- making apointment for ac again. It don't blow cold air as it should. This be the 3rd apointment in a year for same ac issues. I will update this after next apointment. Last apointment, they claimed to fix ac and my waterpump was leaking but my truck wasn't showing signs of overheating or running hot. Got the waterpump changed. Hopefully they figure out my ac issue this time

Went to them for front end alignment autocare counter guy said the car needed parts and labor for repair before the front end could be aligned. I asked where he got the part from, told me and said the part was $ 516 and $400 in labor. Told him that was outrageous, he said that autocare would install the replacement part if I supplied it to them. Based on his word I purchased new parts for $250 not refurbished from a reputable Car and truck manufacturer of parts. Took the parts back to autocare 3 weeks later and the guy behind the counter (owner i assume)( same guy) told me that their policy is not to use customer supplied parts. Several weeks before he told me he would install customer parts. So this behind the counter just said SORRY BRO our policy is not to use customer supplied parts.

Got timing belt changed. Decent turnaround time. They didn't have old belt to show me so that felt very off. Very unlikely the two are related but my shifter cable came loose the next day. There was an older man that answered the phone that talked me through some of what I already knew but he didn't get defensive when I posed the question if it could have been related.

Very friendly people and had my car completed as promised. Will definitely use them in the future for all my repairs.

I have been going to Auto care for years. They have always done a great job, and take care of what ever I need done. One of the best shops in town.
