We learned this very heart warming truth from Autosmith's the day before Christmas Eve. 2025. I bought a truck from this location last winter with “no known issues.” After driving it for a few days I noticed a loud vibrating noice so I brought it in to a local shop and they immediately said the vibrating was from a failing torque converter and the transmission needs to be replaced. I called another shop for their opinion and they said the same exact thing, and added that this was a very common problem for this particular model. I brought the truck back to motley and they said they would look into it. I provided the slip from the other shop with the diagnostics. They disregarded what the other shops were saying and beat around the bush looking for a different problem that wasn’t there, instead of acknowledging that I bought this truck from them with a failing transmission.
