Manager Melvin Murphy provided the kind of customer care you never find anymore! He replaced my headlight bulb and air filter and was so friendly and knowledgeable. Went out of his way to help me out. Such a nice person! 5 stars!

Came in because I needed a low profile fuse. First timer in the store. I was in for less than 10 minutes and greeted right away by 2 people. Staff directed me straight to the aisle I needed and left me to it, which I appreciated. I think partially because I didn't have a "deer in the headlights" look. 😆 Self checkout was a bit fussy but someone was able to help me finish up pretty quick. Would definitely come here again.

I had a horrible experience at this location. I sent an employee in to exchange a battery that went bad after only four months. They attempted to charge the battery and concluded that it was defective. However, they told my employee they could not honor the two-year warranty and charged him for a new battery, even though the original battery was purchased on 10/27/2025. What a joke. Unfortunately, not all AutoZone stores are run the same way, and this location is a clear example of that. Avoid this store if you can.

This AutoZone Auto Parts in Elk Grove has most of the auto parts and car accessories in stock. The employees are knowledgeable and ready to help. The store layout is simple and easy to understand. A lot of parking spaces were available in the parking lot when I visited the store. The area looks very safe too.

October 25th around 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. lady that was working the register and came to check my wife's battery was completely rude we pass by many AutoZone's just to come to this location we always came here for years but never again due to that one employee. She made fun of us bragging that her kids could change batteries at 10 years old and laughing at my 9-year-old could not. She is going to cause that company a lot of business if she keeps it up managers should know.
