This was evident not only in my interaction but also with the preceding customer, to whom she thoroughly explained cross-referenced part numbers and, I believe, provided a printout. After diagnosing my battery (19 Subaru Legacy) and confirming its defect, she efficiently procured a replacement. Notably, Emily proactively supplied the necessary tools, a socket and ratchet, prior to my request. This level of foresight and preparedness, which I have not encountered in my previous AutoZone experiences, truly distinguishes her service. I came to this store looking for a starter motor for a 2010 Ford Fusion 4-cylinder 2.5, and from the beginning the attitude was cold and unhelpful. They gave me a completely wrong part that doesn’t even look like the one my car needs. The person didn’t even try to check or verify anything, just said that’s what the system shows. When I told them it wasn’t the right one, they told me maybe it’s because my car is Mexican. That excuse makes no sense and felt very disrespectful. Ford cars made in Mexico use the same parts. Bad customer service. Online hours and posted hours on store window say open until midnight. I walk into the store around 11:40 pm on 10/8. I spend like 20 seconds grab my item then walk through the check out line to the cash register. Im the only customer in store kind you. As I’m waiting the ethnic male employee with long black hair completely ignores me and lets me stand at the cash register. I figure he was busy doing something so I waited patiently. He then walks by me and goes to a different cash register across from the one I’m at. I figure I’m maybe he’s signed in in that one already. So I wait there, he continues to say nothing to me.
