8/31 Just purchased brake pads and parts cleaner for my car. The staff, Esteban Leon, erroneously charged my account. I brought it up to his attention and he explained he had to return them separately. He placed the brake pads in front of me so I asked if he had to return them too. He said”why would I do that?” I said you just mentioned you needed to return them and ring them up again? Again he said “why would I do that? You wanted those, don’t you?” Wow!!! How rude? This is not the first time nor the second time I dealt with this rude person. I’m a fairly regular customer. Needless to say, I have dealt with numerous other employees but none as rude as this person. The way he conducts himself is almost as if he doesn’t want to work. Would not honor or assist with a pick up for a part that another AutoZone was mistakenly out of stock on. Had to pay twice and deal with having to get a refund.

Horrible customer service. I took in an 11 month old (11/17) defective Duralast Gold battery (would not hold charge) they refused to provide a solution whether it be an exchange or partial refund since it didn't come up under my phone number for the warranty. The only solution both gray and red shirt wearing staff were offering is for me to buy a new one at full price and they would take their 11 month old defective battery as a core. This is very upsetting and frustrating. I will never purchase a battery from AutoZone ever again. I went to Costco which i learned provides superior batteries at a fraction of the cost with excellent warrenty and prorated refund if there is an issue with the battery.
