Avenue M Alternator & Starter

Took my 1965 ford tractor starter in for rebuilding and had it back in two days everything is great I would recommend this place. Thank you very much.

I dropped a starter off around 3 weeks ago, and am seriously dissatisfied with this "business". He rarely answers his phone calls, and never calls you back. He doesn't respond to texts. After several broken promises of finish times, I finally caught him "walking out the door" to go to yet another Dr. appt and then to his girlfriends...he told me it was ready, but he was busy at the moment. That was 5 days ago, and I haven't been able to contact him since. Unless he's in a coma or died, there is no excuse for this level of inaction and disrespect. I've finally given up and bought a rebuilt one from the dealer for over $500 with an $85 core charge added to it, because this guy has mine. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else for repair work.

After posting the last review, AJ called me and he had indeed been in the hospital. I cancelled my new starter and met AJ at his shop, where he presented me with my new shiny starter, and even knocked off a few bucks. He apologized for the delay, and I apologized for being pretty harsh in my last text message. Upon installation the starter performs great! Finally moved my tractor out of the yard, and can get on with my project. So thanks AJ, no hard feelings here. Good work!
