Avis Car Rental

Excellent service. Staff were super friendly, efficient and car was ready on time. Being a Preferred Member was a bonus but cannot recommend highly enough. Renting from them again very soon.

I had a great experience here. The car was clean and as expected. I was in the car within 10 minutes of arriving at the facility. It's extremely helpful to have an Avis that doesn't require going all the way out to LaGuardia to pick up the car. If you're even half way competent you can book a car online with Avis, show up and be driving like that.

Horrible experience and I've been a customer for 5 years!! This is a repeat issue and I am finally cutting the cord. I arrived at 2:48 PM for a 3:00 PM pickup, which is an option Avis allows in their own app. The front desk employee in the beanie was extremely rude, shamed me for "showing up last minute", and said good luck to everyone behind you I am out of here at 3. If they don’t want customers picking up at 3, they shouldn’t offer it. Don’t take that frustration out on paying customers. She rushed the process, told me to grab the key from a newly returned car, and said “take it or leave it.” The car I was given smelled vile had a dirty rag left inside. She claimed there were no other cars available. I had a vacation and all other rental car centers were out of inventory so I took it.

This has never happened to me in my life Booked a car from their website, at the pick up they said they don’t have a car and there are 5 people ahead of me. Dumbest thing I’ve heard that a rental company website doesn’t have inventory availability.

Hopefully with new management this location is on the up and up! Herbert and his team were quick, efficient, very friendly, and even offered me a free upgrade! They even phoned me a day before to coordinate the pickup for a Preferred Plus member. There was one hiccup preventing me from giving 5-stars. The car I was given had a nauseating musty smell - please make sure to deep clean the vehicle!
