Avis Car Rental

I believe the quality has dropped, the cars are the same, but the performance has dropped. I have just rented my second car and the driver side rear window was down. The rear headrests were off and in the rear seat, luckily I know how to put them back in place. It had a bunch of sticks, leaves, and seeds, that I mostly cleaning out. The seats were a light cream or grey color with dark brown or grey smudges in a variety of places, that color would be hard to keep perfect. Most of all they did a terrible job of checking in my previous rental. I forgot my Sun-pass/E-pass/Peach-pass in the rental on the windshield and they never found it? The staff member knew where the car was this time. But didn’t really want to be bothered, close to closing time I believe. Here is my pictures of pre-renta

Reserved a prepaid SUV. When I showed up, I was told they did not have the vehicle I reserved. I had to call Avis Customer Service since the local agent was not authorized to make changes beyond cancellation. Customer Service found the vehicle at another location in a nearby town, and said she transferred the contract. I went to the next town and was told she had no reservation for me. So I called Avis Customer Service AGAIN, repeating my story a second time. This agent found the previous agent had not completed the transfer. She tried to complete the transfer but could not do so without a price increase. I wasn’t going to pay for their mistake, so I asked for her supervisor. Speaking to the supervisor, and once again repeating my story, she said I had to accept the price change and upo

I would give 0 star rating but it won’t allow! Absolutely disgusted with the new management! I have been renting with Avis in Woodstock and Canton for over 8 years! I have never had an issue of being over charged they have accused me over smoking weed (there words) in the car which is crazy seams how I own a company have DOT #’s have random drug test which I am willing to do in order to fight this charge even if it cost me more to fight the charge I will not allow people to scam innocent people! I work on Government sites ECT.. with that being said, they have new ownership. The first day I walked in there, and there were new people I said to the lady behind the counter. Absolutely terrible experience, I had a car reserved to be picked up at 12pm today. Arrived to the location on-time as well as pre checked in, just for Paulette to tell me she “meant to call me because she has nothing available” You were sitting there sipping on your Starbucks coffee but had no time to call me? Make it make sense…. The lack of organization and professionalism experienced at this location is ridiculous.

Had booked an SUV about three weeks out, but received a call on the day of our vacation trip to Florida that they didn't have any cars. After backwards and forwards, they finally found us one. We actually enjoyed the minivan and they offered us a great deal for "the trouble caused", However the day after returning I recieved not one but two reciepts - the initial one which was what we agreed to pay, and then another one which charged us $450 for a cleaning fee!. We took all the trash out of the car from our 6 day trip each day and even cleaned it out when we go back to the rental office, so it did not need anything more than a light vacuum. Looking at other reviews, it seems this is the typical way this place operates. An absolute joke! Do not use this place.
