I highly recommend Avis Budget on Western Branch Blvd! I’ve had a rental since February, and Miss Sue Ann has made the entire process smooth and stress free. She is always polite, courteous, professional, and incredibly helpful. Extending my rental has been completely painless. Exceptional customer service like this truly deserves recognition. WARNING: This franchise owner will hit you with extra fees just to line their own pockets. It feels like a complete money grab and a way to cheat Avis/Budget customers out of more money. These non–company-owned locations operate differently, and you may end up paying far more than you should. Avoid this place and rent from an official corporate location instead.

This Chesapeake Branch and Miss Sue-Ann have been top tier in customer service since I have started renting here. I am a Avis Presidents Club member and use this branch for my business and personal use rentals and I have been consistently shown exceptional customer service. My vehicle is always clean and fueled with minimal wait times. I will continue to use this as my home branch for all rentals to come. You all have earned a life long customer. Keep up the great work!

If zero stars was possible, that’s what i would give. I reserved a 7-passenger “standard elite suv” for 12/20-12/30 thru Costco travel on 10/14/25. A representative from this Avis Budget location called Tuesday 12/16 and left a voicemail stating i needed to confirm my reservation. I returned that call on 12/17, and was met with a rude demeanor when i attempted to ask a question about my reservation … “i have a customer right in front of me, but go ahead” as if im not a customer, just because im on the phone. Fast forward to 12/20 when i attempted to pick up the car. The agent at the desk stated i absolutely had to have a credit card for a 7 passenger vehicle. This was not communicated at initial booking, during the confirmation phone call, and wasn’t even posted on the “helpful reminders”

I love Avis I always rent from them. The Manager is excellent. Customer service and prices are awesome!!
