Avis Car Rental

Absolutely terrible treated my disabled veteran stepdad absolutely disgustingly horrible. They took $400 and refused to rent him a vehicle after asking for an extra $300 and refused to listen to the banker on the phone with all the information for the account saying they're not running the card on their end and tried to basically shove us out the door and refused service. Said they’re don’t even have a customer service even though they very much do. I wouldn’t send your worst enemy there. Also saying they couldn’t/wouldn’t refund the pulled money.

Been renting here for over a year and have never had an issue. Mychael is to the point and gets things done. Cars are fine like everywhere else, sometimes their car delivery doesn’t happen until the morning which can be frustrating but I’ve ever had a bad experience.

Avoid this place like the plague! EXTREMELY rude staff. I found a screw in my rentals tire during my travels and this was the closest Avis to get a replacement rental. I have never been treated so rudely and I’m a Preferred member! All I needed was a replacement vehicle to get my family safely home. The employee on duty was aggressive and argumentative, insisting that “he” is going to charge me for a new tire if it can’t be fixed and “his” cars don’t have nails in them. Are you serious @Avis? This is who you want representing you? I eventually did receive a replacement vehicle but not without the employee treating me very unprofessionally over a stupid screw in a tire. Do not do business with this Avis location!!!

What a nightmare this place is! The owner DISTURBINGLY rude. He started out by threatening us that if we didn't fill it up upon return it would be $10 a gallon charge. We rented a car that obviously hadn't been inspected or cleaned, and the tire blew out in rural KY in the middle of the night. We had to wait 6 hours to get somebody to come and fix the tire that WE paid for OUT OF POCKET THEN HAVE TO WAIT TO BE REIMBURSED! This rental car didn't even come with a spare tire... it came with a can of fix-a-flat! UNBELIEVABLE. The tire had 5 holes in it and blew out at the rim so it wasn't anything we hit on the road. Not one to leave reviews but giving the business 2 stars is crazy. Excellent and smooth service. By far the smoothest transaction for me. Felt i had to help the business a bit with my review. Bad with names but both gentlemen were easy to work with. One of them has been there for 12+ years. Facility is clean and looks brand new. Check them out!
