Avis Car Rental

Just want to come on here and give a Huge shout out to Tiffany at Avis Car Rental in Danbury CT. I rented a vehicle at New Haven airport from Avis and it started to throw all kinds of electrical warnings. I went to Avis Rental on Mill Plain Road and spoke with Tiffany. She was absolutely amazing and sympathetic to my concerns about what could happen if something really did go wrong. She went out of her way to find a way to swap vehicles for me and put me back on the road feeling safe. So refreshing to see and receive great Customer Service! Agreement #:486161712 Heidi Norton

1st car i picked up from white plains airport had a loose part under car. Swapped for another in Danbury ct and recieved a car that stunk bad. Had to drive with windows down in rain . They had no other cars to give me. This happened last time with avis a year ago. Budget I never had a problem. I have wrote a email to our home office. We use them all the time. Time to find alternatives. Im not sure what that is. We cant have our clients or brokers going through this b.s.

This is a decent place. They did prepare the vehicle and gave me a car wash voucher. There is also a customer bathroom and direct email access to the manager. Far better than the Avis dump in Poughkeepsie.

You walk in and there’s nobody there. The front desk girl is mia. You go in the back and the guy that takes care of the cars says yes we have cars available. He calls the girl that should be at the desk on his phone. She pulls up 15 minutes later, walks in and says “no cars available. Still waiting on the registrations for some of our cars”. bro you been giving me this run around since October on 2025. How long does it take to get a registration. This location is run by no good lazy staff who act like you owe them something. Should be ashamed of themselves.

This place is the biggest freaking joke I’ve ever heard of. Three weeks in a row now I have rented a car through Uber and every week they don’t have one! How am I able to reserve a car but you can’t seem to hold a damn car?! Absolute bullshit!
