Avis Car Rental

Sharing pics of the vehicle that I rented, when I let the young lady know the car was filthy inside and out she said the only option was to upgrade me to a vehicle that cost twice as much more. Needless to say I have canceled the upcoming reservations I have through November, won't be using them again. Update: the location operator responded to my email and offered to extend the rental for a day with a 20% discount, however, I returned the car as originally planned. The whole experience was just bad. They may need to revisit their policy on vehicle change/upgrade fees when the problem is caused by their company and not the customer.

This location is a complete joke. Not only did they allow someone to extend a rental that was reserved by me. Upon arrival I wanted thirty minutes for someone to arrive to tell me this after paying an Uber to get there. They had already cancelled my reservation but I received no email in regards to a cancellation. Nor did the offer to help find me another car. My opinion of this location is that it's unprofessionally ran by people with no customer service skills. Avis this is the 4th time you've cost me money.

Very friendly and Customer Service oriented. Only thing you must have major credit card. No prepaid debit cards accepted regardless of Visa, MC logo. Otherwise great to use if emergency arises and you need reliable transportation! 👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I should have read the reviews about this place ripping people off... I made a reservation here for a one-day rental using Avis Preferred rewards points and was quoted a price of $6.13 for taxes and fees in addition to the points deducted from my account. Not only did they deduct the points, but they ALSO charged over $120 to my credit card - so I basically got double-charged for the rental.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the car rental agents from Clifford street at the Hulen street store. GPS took me to the old location at the mall but I called the office number, spoke to LaGina and she helped me. I found the store and the process was smooth as butter. A young man walked around the car with me and I was on the road. If you’re looking for a no muss no fuss rental check them out.
