Avis Car Rental

Do not rent here, just go to the airport. When I walked up the owner immediately complained that I made a last minute reservation, then told me I should never make a reservation with the customer service line because he might not have had a car and definitely didnt have the kind of car that I rented (i.e. economy and I was going to get a nicer car for less money). Then as soon as he found out that it was my husband that needed the car because I already had a rental that needed to be dropped off he immediately told me he was refusing to rent it to me because he was retiring in 8 months and he owned the place and he wasn't supposed to make 2 rentals to one person (even though my husband was there with me). Vehicles are not well maintained. I rented a car and the tires were extremely worn down, nearly bald. I got a flat tire. Avis will charge you $130 dollars to assist with putting on the spare. Vehicles are unsafe and not fit to be driven.

My experience with Avis was frustrating from start to finish. I reserved a specific vehicle class well in advance, only to be given a completely different car without explanation or apology. Customer service was dismissive and unhelpful, and the lack of communication made the entire process stressful. I tried to resolve the issue directly but was met with vague responses and zero accountability. I won’t be renting from Avis again and would recommend others look elsewhere if they value reliability and transparency. I wish i had received this information before i rented with them but I was not lucky enough to be steered away.

I will never rent from this place again. When I went to get something I forgot in the car, the guy there spoke to me very rudely and yelled even though I didn't take 5 seconds out of his time and he didn't apologize for his attitude. Really the worst service I have ever seen. I do not recommend dealing with this location.
