Google review: This was unquestionably the worst car rental experience I've ever had, including rentals from other agencies. I am an Avis Preferred member and have been an Avis and Budget customer for over 30 years. Over those years my rental experiences have varied from excellent (mostly), to "could have been better" types of experiences. This experience was horrendous. It is unbelievable that a customer service representative could treat another human being that cruelly, especially right before a holiday that is supposed to be about love, peace, kindness, and human fellowship. Worst car rental place I’ve used… There are hidden charges the rep tells you to just agree and accept. And you can’t get in touch with anyone at the physical location. Good luck if you left an item in the vehicle? They charged us $9 per gallon and vehicles that we filled up the tank for make sure y’all check everything before you leave.

I assumed that since I had a reservation, I would be able to rent the car right away, but I ended up waiting almost two hours. My American friend who stayed with me said, “This is standard service in America,” but I don’t think so. However, the owner seems to respond to similar reviews with the same kind of reply every time, so I guess they’re satisfied with the current situation.

For a prepaid vehicle we had to wait hours we are. No one wanted to help those three employees there they had one very aggressive employee ended up getting a vehicle that I didn’t even reserve and when I reached out to management with the behavior, I quickly got a response email that someone would be contacting me and I have not heard anything since. Do not rent a car from Avis you will regret it. I booked a car weeks in advance. When I got to the rental counter the service was started to go down hill. First, an agent was just sitting playing on her cell phone while I was waiting in line. When I got up to the counter she just to but you name, phone number, and which rental company you booked with on a sheet of paper. That paper was a wait list. The worst part they had the cars just no keys inside and where waiting for a basket full of keys to be brought in. When my name was finally called and I got my keys I went out to the rental vehicle to find it Empty on Fuel and Dirty. When I returned the car they charged me for not returning the vehicle on full. When I called Avis customer service to get it resolved the agent did not seem to unde
