Avis Car Rental

I went in to rent today. As soon as I walked in, I knew something was different from all of my previous visits. The staff has completely changed here, a change that was well needed. I got to meet the new operator, who was at the counter and greeting everyone as they entered. The location is much cleaner, has a pleasant smell, and the vehicle I received today was cleaner than any other I previously rented from here. Kudos to this new group for turning this location around. My only suggestion is to get more cars into this location. The phone was ringing off the hook. I'm not sure when the change took place here, but my guess is that word is spreading and customers are returning to give the location another try.

This location had the most helpful staff of any rental facility I have been to in years. I witnessed them trying to assist a customer who was complaining about a policy they had no control over. The staff remained calm, was empathetic, and did everything they could to assist this person. You do not see that level of service anymore. I commend this team for their efforts. I see so many complaints on here, but the team I witnessed today doesn’t deserve these comments. They do not make the policies, on abide by them. I will continue to be a customer here as long as this level of service continues!!

I went in today to rent a car because I could not book online. There was an extremely limited supply of vehicles at this location. However, the agents were still positive and trying their best to help. Unfortunately due to the lack of options today, I was not able to rent. But, because of their positive attitudes and willingness to help, I would give them another try in the future.

I’ll join the majority here and say this was a very disappointing experience with Avis. I usually pick Avis because they had yet to disappoint me. We rented a 12-passenger van for a week-long vacation so all of our family could ride together. First, when I was waiting my turn to receive my vehicle, there was a couple before me also renting a car. When the representative got their car he noted there was an issue that had to be addressed. The issue was that the car they received was riddled with trash from fast food places. There was about six different containers plus matching cups left in the vehicle. The only reason I utilized this company / location is because my company arranged for it. I picked up my rental car yesterday and have already asked to return it to a different location so I don’t have to go back to this one: 1.) The absolute ball of sunshine at the counter (sarcasm) was one of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. She has no business being in an occupation dealing with customers. My presence, along with two others she didn’t even acknowledge, were prohibiting her from eating her Ruffles so maybe that’s why she was so rude, I’m really not sure. 2.) In spite of the fact that my rental was booked 2+ weeks in advance, me calling to confirm I had a vehicle and that it would be ready beforehand, and showing up after the requested pick up time, the vehicle still had to be vac
