Avis Car Rental

Unfortunately, if you inadvertently forget your belongings in one of their vehicles, you are NOT getting them back. I left a pair of cowboy boots in footwell of the back seat of the car and returned the next AM to retrieve. The car was still on the lot and hadn’t been rented out again, but the boots couldn’t be found. The front desk tried to locate them but if folks aren’t honest, it makes it harder. They seem to know what’s happening in the back-office. I’ve seen enough comments to understand that this is an issue.

Sarah was extremely sweet and helpful when we had to exchange our rental. When we found out that a different location rented us a vehicle with bum brake lights and a 6 month expired registration, we came to this location immediately and she had us in another rental within an hour. Amazing service!

Absolutely would not recommend this location to anyone who values their belongings. Their service department has a habit of keeping things they find in vehicles for themselves. When you question the main desk or manager, they claim ignorance. You have options when you rent, don't rent with this Avis.

Planned on using this car rental. They don't take debit cards or cash. Only credit cards. Left me stranded at the airport. Another car rental right next to it is closed but takes debit cards. They just lost a customer please make this make sense

My flight was canceled so I had to rent a car for an 8 hour drive home. Unfortunately I trusted Avis and did not inspect the tires before leaving. Unfortunately I find out when it’s too late that the rear passenger tire is bald and has wires showing. I drove 8 hours in 100 degree weather to get home. I would never have forgiven myself had something horrible happened because of the incompetence of Avis. I reported it as soon as I turned the car in and they acted like it wasn’t a big deal and said they may give me a discount. SMH…I don’t want a discount. I want to be sure no one gets hurt because of someone’s laziness. I never heard from Avis nor did I receive an email survey like I have before. UPDATE: I emailed customer service twice to follow up about my experience. They finally responde
