Avis Car Rental

Worst experience ever. I was charged an extra $188 dollars for "light dog hair" on my floor of my rental car that I rented for only 24 hours (did I mention I do not own a dog??). Obviously this location did not pre-clean my car, and after turning it back in, I was accused of making it needing of additional cleaning charges. A simple 24 hour rental has turned into a nightmare of emails, photos sent for proof, and still going on. Ridiculous for a supposedly large rental company to post fraudulent additional charges.

We have been waiting for an hour and a half for this budget location to open. The door says they are supposed to open at 9am and it’s been impossible to get more information on when someone will come to open the building. There are 5 groups of people with reservations who have been waiting and calling. This is a HUGE inconvenience and is causing major problems in our travel plans. I do NOT recommend using this Avis/Budget location. Even if you have a confirmed reservation (as we do), you may not get your car because they just won’t open the building.

New owners are Amazing! Tabesh was very accommodating and had many rentals options available. His staff has gone over and above to help me and my needs. I will continue to use this location for all my future rentals in the Merced area.

They answered all my questions with clarity and patience, and their attention to detail ensured everything was in perfect order. Avis is lucky to have them, Customer service like this is rare and worth recognizing. Omg horrible service I lost my license applied to reissue it just last week which should come in the mail soon but I had the temporary paper one that dmv emailed me. My car is supposed to be at the shop this week. these people denied me the rental, my pick up was at 2pm I got there at 140pm. Then I went to hertz I gave them the DMV paper they just asked do you proof of Id said yes my ID and my passport and a photo of my lost driver”s license they said yes perfect and I was able to get it from them. Later Avis emails me saying they will not refund any money back for my rental that cancellation was done late I did not want to cancel I had to since they already charged me I needed that money back.
