The man working there was super helpful and kind. He went above and beyond to help me and I will never forget that. 10/10 experience, will definitely rent from this location again. Long story short: I actually had my reservation cancelled at another car rental location in the US because of a lack of cars available, and I could not find any other ones in the US. However I made a last minute reservation at this location and after calling ahead, he agreed to wait 15 minutes past closing time for me to arrive to pickup the car. This literally saved my entire long weekend, had he not waited for me, my road trip with my friends would be cancelled. Worst place to rent a car from. Wastes time and language barrier. Plan to spend 45 minutes just to pick up, not to mention needing a copy of your health card It really feels like my identity is compromised.

Our vehicle broke down unexpectedly when we were out and it had to be put in shop for repairs for a few days. We took an Uber from the mechanic to Avis Rental and the agent at the front desk began all the paperwork. Unfortunately, we were having a bad day … I left my driver’s license and credit card in a coat pocket at home. My husband only uses his credit card for on-line business so he couldn’t remember the PIN. We were in a bad situation. The man was so patient with us and very professional. We ended up taking another Uber home and called Avis asking if they wouldn’t mind staying open a bit longer so we could get my credit card & driver’s licence, come back and rent a car. I am leaving a 3 star review due to the quality of the vehicle. It is the service that let's it down. I found the person behind the counter quite abrupt. He wasn't at all welcoming and continuously answered his phone whilst dealing with me. To be fair the vehicle was new and did exactly what it said on the tin. I had taken out fully inclusive super insurance through Canadian Affair and paid a premium for it. The employee or owner tried to tell me I had basic insurance, until I produced my paperwork, to which he just shook his head. I won't be using this car hire again and if you want a friendly service, I would try elsewhere

Used Avis because I had a corporate discount with them, but after my experience with this place I would recommend you choose another location even if you have to spend a bit more. This location seems to employ a single person, and he has no sense of urgency or even a normal person's working pace. When I picked up my car there was no one else here, and it still took me 30 minutes to get out of here even though I had pre-paid and pre-checked in online. When I returned my car I was 3rd in a line of 5, and despite the line up, this guy works at the same slow place with no care of anyone else's time. I've been waiting so long that I'm literally writing this review while in line. It's been 25 minutes and counting now. It's also worth mentioning he tends to give you a fair amount of attitude in
