Avis Car Rental

Waited in line for nearly one hour. When it was finally my turn to go to the agent. I asked why it was taking do long. Agent said because they had a recall on 800 of their cars. Cars that customers wanted had to be given something else due to recall. No discount was given, no I am sorry for the delay, nothing!! It would have been nice if they had made an announcement letting everyone know what was going on. That would have been great customer service.

Car I received from Avis was brand new and super clean. No issues with the service, however I did get a little turned around on the ground floor, but service was there to point me in the right direction. The only down I can put in the review is the car I received did not show MPH in the speedometer, it was in KPH. I had to utilize Google maps to gage my speed. But overall great experience here.

Got scammed here. They quoted me $300 for the week with a $200 deposit. So I signed saying yes to charging my card $500. My bank was charged $600 and when I went to return my car (in perfect condition) they said they were keeping the $500 and it was a $100 deposit?? Definitely don’t rent here because they will change the price and scam you!

So I love that I got to rent a car for a very cheap rate, and the lady that checked me in was really nice and attentive, but the guy who checked me in when I brought the car back was so busy talking to his coworker telling her a story and not paying any attention to me and didn't hear me when I said I wanted to extend my rental and closed me out. So that cost me even more money. So I was pretty upset about that.
