Avis Car Rental

My Avis rental car picked up from the airport ran into engine issues and I was told by Avis customer service to go to any Avis location to exchange the car. So I came to this location closest to me. The agent here gave me many nonsensical reasons why they couldn't exchange my car, and insisted that customer service gave me the wrong info and that no Avis local location would be able to do the exchange. Thankfully I did not listen to his advice. I drove the car a few miles to a different Avis location and they gave me a new car with minimal fuss. Avis needs to review this rental location's franchise agreement - if you aren't willing to provide service to Avis customers you shouldn't be part of the Avis brand.

I rented this Van for a family vacation in mid December 2018 to go out of state. About 4-5 days into the rental there was a warning light on the dash that indicated the tire pressure was low. I took it to a service station on the side of the highway and they informed me of the one tire being severely damaged and did not recommend driving on the tire. I then called AVIS to see what they wanted to do. They instructed me that they would have roadside assistance come out and put on the spare tire and NEVER MENTIONED THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE. When they did this (at 11pm) they could not get the damaged tire to fit into the space where the spare tire came from. This was a problem as we had 10 passengers in a 12 passenger van plus luggage so no room to keep a damaged tire in the vehicle for our 1

We had to exchange our car because our experience in the Miami airport was terrible. We had a great experience with the service here in Pompano Beach, where they helped us and were so nice, which is honestly a treat given car how car rentals work.

The most unprofessional budget car rental location. This lady Was taking on the phone joking around with her friends , hanging outside in her car listening to music . Meanwhile customers are in the office waiting for service and also she had a nasty attitude and is very rude. She was not helpful at all , made us do more then one reservation and still turned away because she said chime credit wasn’t accepted but it is accepted in all locations. This lady was the most horrible customer service representative, we ever encountered. At the airport there was no issues even with the same Company the chime credit was accepted. This lady just didn’t wanna do a good job and doesn’t care about providing good service. She should find another job if she’s so unhappy with helping customers and traveler

Have rented from here multiple times. I always reserve days ahead of time so that I won’t spend a lot of time at the counter. Always, always satisfied with the level of service. Thanks, Pauline, and other employees.
