Avis Car Rental

I made a reservation for 2:00 on a Sunday not realizing that this location closes at 2. Thankfully my plans were flexible and I was able to pick it up the following morning with no significant impact to my travel. I was concerned about my reservation being held so I both looked online and called Avis and was assured they had a 24 hour grace period and I could pick it up in the morning with no issue. They assured me I didn’t need to cancel or book a new reservation. I did pick it up in the morning and returned within my original window (was just driving 4 hours to the Cleveland airport) but the charge on my paperwork was $90 more for my reservation (original was $111, charge was $201). The employee offered no explanation but assured me that the charge would “fall off” as long as I returned

I recently rented from this location and had a terrible experience. First I was given a car that was filthy, maintenance was required, the registration was expired, and the car had damage. I had issues with the car while driving which caused inconveniences to me. It took me longer to get back home because of how the car was running. When l went to return the car the location closed early which caused me to get charged for another day. To return the car the following day I had to call off of work. I was not compensated for my experience or my inconveniences. I don’t see myself renting with this location again.

We picked up our car there to drive to NYC.. The SUV they gave us was damaged... absolutely filthy.. the back hatch floor was caved in... we went back in and they gave us a different one.. that was all they had. It was better.. but still dirty on the outside and inside.. I had to take it home and clean it... go to the airport to get yr vehicle.. DO NOT GO HERE..

I arrived about 15 minutes early and Crystal was the rep. Things went quickly and pleasantly. I was out of there in 10 minutes and on the road in a nicely cleaned inside and out Toyota. Car was great on gas. Flawless pick up and return. Could use some better signage outside but I was able to find it.

I have rented and still renting almost on monthly basis and my experience has been great. The service is excellent there has hardly been any delays in picking and returning the car. Agent Crystal has been very attentive and helpful and always accommodates my special requests. I highly recommend this location and will keep coming back for my car rentals.
