Car was super clean and good, the guy at the counter was super nice, and finalized the procedure quickly, best car rental experience

I always rent my cars from SJ airport because of my past bad experience with rental companies but I wanted to write this review because of outstanding service from start to finish, my car rental experience was absolutely seamless. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile by “Biranjan ” , who immediately made me feel like a valued customer. He patiently walked me through the rental options, answered all my questions, and ensured I got the perfect vehicle for my business trip. It’s rare to find a team that combines efficiency with such personal care, but both “Biranjan “and “Umesh” truly delivered. Because of them, what could have been a routine rental turned into a five-star experience. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this location to friends and family!

I always have mixed feelings about Avis but I had good experience at this site. I made a same day prepaid reservation which seems to catch the staffs off guard (I guess they need at least a day to allocate cars) but they still helped me with good attitude and a decent car. I wish all Avis sites can have the same level of staffs and service.

Extremely disappointed with Avis. I clearly told the staff during drop-off that I had an employee discount, yet they still charged me nearly $10 per gallon for refueling — way above the national average. It felt like they didn’t even listen. When I called Avis management, they immediately admitted it was wrong and refunded me, which just proves it should never have happened in the first place. I expect better attention and accountability from a company like Avis. It’s frustrating to end an otherwise smooth rental experience on such a sour note

Hands down the BEST AVIS in the country and BEST customer service from Umesh. He’s friendly, professional, trustworthy. We have rented from Avis for years and will only rent from Avis through Umesh! The car selection, speed of service, cleanliness are SUPERB! We love renting from Umesh! Thanks for making our renting experiences so great throughout the years.
