⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Smooth and Easy Rental Experience! I recently rented a car from Avis in St. Petersburg, FL, and the whole experience was great from start to finish. The staff (Nate the amazing) at the counter was friendly, professional, and got me on the road quickly — check-in took less than 10 minutes. The car (a 2024 Toyota Camry) was spotless, smelled fresh, and clearly well maintained. Nate recommended a bunch of restaurants walk me through the vehicle help me connect My phone was a gentleman and a scholar. when I came back two days later because I couldn’t connect my wife’s phone, he took his time out of his busy day to connect my wife’s phone. I just wanted to share my experience working with Nate. His customer service was beyond 5 stars. From the moment I arrived at the counter I was greeted with a smile and welcoming service. The whole experience was beyond pleasant which we appreciated due to a poor experience earlier with a different car company. His exceptional customer service would definitely make me go out of my way to rent at this Avis location again. Grateful for friendly service with a smile thanks again !

Don't waste your time!! We booked a car about 2.5 weeks ahead of time. Arrived at the designated time (noon) and was told that there were no cars available but "we're expecting four cars back at noon". We waited until 1:30 and still no cars available. The guy at the counter could not have cared less. We called the corporate number and they told us that we "should have called ahead of time to confirm that cars would be available" even though we had the email confirmation of the rental agreement from weeks prior. Then they told us to call around to other Avis locations to see if they had any cars available and that WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES TO CHANGE LOCATIONS!! Not one person was helpful or apologetic. Shame on you, Avis. Do better.

Nathan gave us great service. He was prompt, efficient and professional. He answered all of my questions clearly. If Nathan waits on you, you will not be disappointed.😊
