Avis Car Rental

Had a great experience with Avis at Stockton. We are travelling from Australia and picked up an SUV on Sunday 4th January, and the young lady behind the counter was extremely helpful. Thank you for making our driving journey more memorable for our family.

Everything with the car was fine but the service we received was unlike any other I’ve ever seen. I’ve worked in customer service for 10 years and went in with my mother to pick up her rental car. The woman at the front desk met us with the rudest customer service I’ve ever had. Both when we picked up the car and when we dropped it off. My mom is not one to complain, she was EXTREMELY polite the entire time, and I never said a word. Neither of us have ever left a review on a business, but her behavior was so unacceptable I had to write this. My mom was almost in tears. I of course understand having a bad day, but her attitude was abhorrent to us each time we were in there and to other guests we observed as well. I hope not that she gets fired or anything that drastic, but understands that

Avis has gone down the toilet and I'm going to take my business else where after more than a decade of using them.

Do not ever use!!!! Their customer service is horrible. They do not have their policies visible on their website if using a credit card and no customer service! At least Enterprise has good customer service that if you type using debit card they call you to remind you of policy. The girl here was rude and unapologetic and said they don’t do that. They will refuse you if you do not have good credit and using a debit card. You will have to use a credit card if you have bad credit. I will stick with Enterprise forever. So far the best out of Budget and Avis.

Excellent customer service, patient and thorough while I waited to complete the process of my rental. Vehicle was clean, ran smoothly and great on gas. I needed a one-way vehicle for a long trip to visit family and I received nothing but the best. I would definitely recommend Avis for your next car rental experience. 150% satisfaction! I will definitely be returning customer! Thank you!
