Avis Car Rental

We rent from Avis very frequently at several locations but this location at Trenton airport is the absolute worst experience I've ever had. We landed in an ice storm and after having to pry the doors open on the frozen shuttle, we finally made it to the rental office. It was treacherous weather and there were two other couples getting their cars at the same time I overheard the two behind the desk constantly trying to upsell either insurance or better cars to the other two customers. So I was mentally prepared when it was our turn. The first thing they asked us if we wanted to upgrade to a Mercedes for an additional cost. Hello readers. So upon my arrival at the Trenton airport when we scheduled our rent a car from Avis trying to get to Avis was a trip itself. We waited over an hour for a shuttle to pick us up. As we arrived at Avis the customer service was so horrible, they did not speak English they speak Russian. They were so rude and it was talking amongst themselves in their language (Russian) it was so very unprofessional and disrespectful. And on top of that they don't even offer you a ride to the airport, which is over a mile away. And when you ask for a ride to the airport it's like you're bothering them. And when you pick up the car that you ordered and paid for they tried to upsell you to a different vehicle. I just want to let everyone know pay a little more money and get treated right Enterpri

Update: dropped down to 1 star. They incorrectly charged me an additional hour fee. They've also charged me for tolls when I had my own ez pass. Just an inconvenience and waste of time to deal with being on the phone and emailing. I did not have any of these issues with enterprise In person Customer service was 4 stars. Andre was great with initial and drop off outside of these egregious additional charges

The agent at this place was extremely helpful to me and other customers. He patiently dealt with each one when we had issues such as expired drivers license, no valid credit card etc. The vehicle was also great and clean, washed before giving us. Highly recommended

Andrei specifically helped me out when I was in need. Understanding and personable. The service was quick, easy to navigate, and would highly recommend using these guys for all rental needs. Not just another random review, I mean these words. Thank you.
