Avis Car Rental

My car needed some repairs that were going to take a little while, so I rented a car from Avis. Shawna was so polite and professional - and worked to get me the best weekly rate possible. I always appreciate great service - and Shawna delivered. Definitely recommend Avis and this location at 41st and Memorial!

Unfortunately, I have rented multiple times with this Davis location and the experience simply gets worse every time. Today’s rental was supposed to be a very large SUV in order for us to transport a lot of things out of state. I was assured that they would have something like a suburban ready for me yet when I arrived it was only a Ford Explorer. There were no other options on the lot. Unfortunately, as well this vehicle looked as though it had not been cleaned in perhaps eight or 10 rentals. The back end was full of grass dirt and some sort of liquid substance that I hope was water. There was a sticky substance on all of the backseats and the windows were so smeared that I could barely see out of the windshield. We had a pretty good experience when we went in and rented the vehicle, only complaint was that the inside was dirty but we were in a rush and it didn't matter too much. Today I called and spoke to Amy to extend the vehicle another week and asked her for additional discounts and saved me over $200.00 so I couldn't be more pleased with that in itself but this girl Amy who went out of her way to give me a good price and experience definitely needed some recognition. Thank you guys so much and I hope she gets something special for being Amazing lol.
