Avis Car Rental

This is not a corporate Avis / Budget location. They won't honor reservations made online. I was first told they had no cars. Then when I went out in the parking lot and counted was told they were all "broken" only to watch others drive away in them within 20 minutes. If you have a good rate, be it from a 3rd party site or directly booked on Budget.com they WILL NOT honor it and you will end up like me and 2 others with denied reservations..sharing an Uber to Hertz. The Lancaster and HIA locations are great but this one is a scam with hostile staff. The woman girl at the counter acts like a rabid animal.

I arrived at my scheduled pick up time this morning and was told they are out of cars. No one bothered to give me a heads up before or anything. So now I’m scrambling to find a car to get to a funeral tomorrow. Smells like cigarettes really bad in there too. Definitely should not be open for business!

0 stars! Continually have terrible experiences here. Every time I go into this location it’s always something different that prevents me from getting a car. First was my license didn’t read “green” and then they also wouldn’t let my wife rent a car of her own. Second time I tried to go which was today she “the manager” wouldn’t apply my discount nor accept my work email I was able to locate after going around about not having a badge and her not accepting my pay stub as a method of proving employment. Never again would I consider this location. Unhelpful and disrespectful time and time again.

The worst car rental place ever. I don't recommend anyone deal with this place. There's a very rude female employee, and I don't know why the incompetent manager still keeps her working there. He should fire her immediately. She's a disgrace to the place. I don't recommend anyone come here because you'll be immediately insulted by inexperienced staff.

I am a 20+ year Avis Presidents Club member. Beware this location. I have rented one way rentals from here to airports and vice versa for several years. The lady that is now supposedly the manager of this location denied my reservation (made through Avis) and then denied my wife’s reservation (also made through Avis) because she said it had an invalid discount code. Guess what the discount code was? Amazon Benefits lol. Probably millions of people use this throughout the year. We have contacted corporate but please make sure you have backup plans before renting here. I will also contact Amazon corporate to let them know of this practice.
