Exceptionally poor service. I had my car looked at at this auto shop when it was under warranty. The worker Jamie told me he opened a claim for my car at that time which I found out he did not. The auto shop poorly communicated with me for months and kept telling me they were opening claims when they never did. Months of trouble shooting the auto shop tells me that they were never even able to complete this work in the first place. This shop has little to 0 customer service skills or accountability.

We were out on the Alvar Plains when our serpentine belt broke! Called James once we got service as we hightailed it back to civilization. He told us what to do and we made it without melting our engine block! Turns out a piece broke off INSIDE our engine block. Most mechanics would have a huge tear-out replace job but he was able to somehow use a tool/die gig then machine the bolt around the serpentine belt to accommodate a slightly larger size than it was made for! I was amazed! He was super calm and helpful telling us where we could get services on the island and had a car rental. I believe this would normally be over $1,000 repair & charged us a tad less than half that so I'd say his prices are very reasonable. While waiting for the ferry to De Tour my battery died. A fellow traveler got my battery jumped and I went to Bailey's for a new one. Service was awesome and I was on my way in a flash! Thank you so much Bailey's!

Being one of the only service garages on a remote island could be the opportunity to be completely fleeced if your vehicle breaks down, but not at Bailey's. This shop does top shelf work, even on heavy trucks, and charges per standard scale. Their diagnostics are dead-on, their work is as fast as it can be given that parts may have to come next-day from about 100 miles away (though in some cases they can get parts to the island the same day). If you are in trouble, even for a big repair, you can absolutely trust these guys and you will find that their prices are as fair as you can find them anywhere.

Great guys. Might I even say life savers. They helped me and my family when Our brake line rusted out. I didn't know what to do but the two James's came two our rescue. Thanks so much.
