This is a smaller, family-owned shop. You get honest information about the work needed on your car and phone calls before anything more than you've requested is done. Personally, I've never felt "talked down to" about my car because I'm a woman, and that's very important to me. If you need "instant" service, this might not be your place. Again, it's a smaller shop, so they get busy and fill up quickly. BUT if you're looking for a great local shop you can trust, and build a long-term bond for your auto needs, Balabanis is the place!

My car broke down during a snowstorm due to a crack in my car’s coolant tank. I’m a student in the area and didn’t know of any mechanic around here, especially one that I felt as comfortable going to like my family mechanic at home. I called Balabanis Auto and right from the start they treated me like a lifelong customer. They ordered a new coolant overflow tank, replaced a back light, and fixed the grill on the front of my car. I thought that they were very reasonably priced especially with my BMW. They constantly updated me with any work they did and the progress they made on the car. I really appreciated all the time they took to communicate with me regarding my vehicle. Came in for Used Car Pre-Purchase Inspection which was thorough, affordable, and transparent. The mechanic took the time at the end to go through each finding and offered to show where on the car each issue was. Friendly staff and an awesome local business.
