Top notch service. The transparency was incredible throughout the entire process. Brought my car here for an auto insurance claim. Mike had the insurance representative come back to the shop on more than one account to repeat their appraisal to ensure I was paying little to nothing out of pocket. He fought tooth and nail for me. I had never experienced that before. I'm used to auto body shops just taking what the insurance company gives them and running with it and telling you what you owe. Not Mike or the team at Bar Harbor. I was included on all communications to the insurance representative and updated throughout the entire process. Completely fixed the roof on my car after a tree branch would've totaled it, one of the few shops willing to help. Go here for out-of-pocket work, other bodyshops in the area mostly work through insurance and total anything that looks rough. Told the repair tech I dont care if it looks pretty, I just needed them to put a windshield in. They were honest with what could/couldn't be done and told me exactly what work they were going to do beforehand. $4500 roof replacement became a ~$1500 dent repair. Windshield replaced, sunroof seals again (leak tested it myself), and they did the work in just a few days. They did much better than I expected given the situation.

Bar Harbor Auto Body did an amazing job fixing my car. I went through insurance, and even the insurance damage inspector commented on my choice to use Bar Harbor, saying that Mike and his team would definitely take care of me. They were able to diagnose and repair a leak near the windshield of my Jeep Cherokee. I was turned away from other repair shops because it wasn't initially clear where the leak was. Very happy with the service and all of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The price was fair for the work that was done too. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Mike was great, he definitely does his best to make sure his customers never pay anything extra. My front bumper came out on one side and I was expecting a big estimate & wait time for repair or replacement. He took a look at it and was able to clip things back into place himself in a few minutes, no hassle. Perfect temporary fix I needed to get back on the road. Bumper is all good now and the only damage was part of the splash shield underneath which he gave me an estimated cost for but he wasn't pushing to get any extra work done if it wasn't necessary, just looking out for his customers.
