I've been taking my 2001 Acura 3.2 type S to Tommy since 2005 when I purchased it used. I wouldn't waste time taking it any other place. Recently, when a good friend needed desperately to borrow a car, I let him take my Acura from Columbia to Brooklyn, New York, and back. Despite it having over 400k miles on it, I had no doubt he could make the trip with no worries besides fuel. That's due to over 20 years of honest, impeccable care from Tommy Barnhill.

The owner Tommy is a very knowledgeable person. He will tell you exactly what needs to be done without adding unnecessary service costs. Just had a CVT flush, would go there again.

I’ve been going to Tommy since I bought my first Honda Odyssey minivan. I later bought my wife a CRV and all 3 of my children Honda’s. I’ve trusted him to keep their cars safe traveling back and forth from high school through college. Tommy and Ryan keeps me up to date on scheduled maintenance and tells me details on the health of my vehicle. He’s upfront on all of the costs. He’s very friendly and personable. If there were more people in the world like Tommy, the world would be a better place.

Tommy and Ryan have taken excellent care of our vehicles for many years. I’m always treated kindly and with respect, issues are explained to whatever degree I request, and work only begins once I’ve approved both the work and the cost. They take my time seriously, and I never wait longer than anticipated without explanation. The highest compliment I think I can pay is this: I greatly preferred a Toyota the last time we purchased a vehicle, but bought the Honda version instead so I could continue getting our vehicle serviced with Barnhill Automotive. I recommend them highly and without hesitation. They are honest, hardworking people who will take excellent care of your vehicle.

I've been very pleased with the service and the scheduling for getting regular maintenance as well as unscheduled repairs that need to be done. The owner, Tommy, is very personable and explains as well shows you what work needs to be done and gives you an option on when you need or want to pay for it to be done or if you want to wait until it really has to be done. He's very knowledgeable and tries to work with you on getting the best prices for your parts as well as overly considerable about service prices. I was recommended by my cousin and I was pleased, so I recommend him to others as well for Honda especially vehicles. He does have a lot of work, because he is very dependable. Sometimes I wish he would get a little more rest. 😊
