I've lived in Santa Fe for 48 years and it literally took me this long to find an honest,reliable, trustworthy, fair priced, friendly mechanic and I have mechanics in my own family so that's saying something because I don't go to them any longer now that I've found Auston and my cousin's a pretty good mechanic he's just got an attitude that I don't care to deal with but Auston has a smile on his face when you talk to him and it's not a fake one either. Most importantly Auston fixed my truck engine when Performance Plus Inc could not, when said^ mechanic did the very expensive $2,500 job incorrectly and would not honor his warranty even though it was only 2 weeks out of the warranty and so I had to have this engine rebuilt twice but at least Auston did the job correctly his first time aroun

Auston is such a kind, present, patient, and generous person. The windows in my car suddenly stopped working on a hot day that I was on the road with my dog, and Auston invited us in that very afternoon so he could look at it. He took time out of his busy day to figure out what was going on, and was able to fix the problem quickly and with a ton of care. I will definitely be going back to him for future work on my car. What an incredible person!

Auston is literally the nicest mechanic I have ever met in my life. I wanted an inspection after jiffy lube told me I needed a bunch of things done to my Toyota Matrix. He comprehensively inspected everything and explained to me what he was seeing. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and generous with his time and effort. He does not want to scam you! Worlds above any mechanic I’ve encountered. I’ll definitely be returning when my car needs work.

Auston is the best mechanic I’ve worked with in the 15 years I’ve owned old cars across VA, RI, OH, AZ, and NM! He’s goes above and beyond the usual mechanic experience, clearly explains diagnoses and possible repairs, and does excellent work for extremely fair prices. I’ve been seeing him for about a year for repairs on my 04 Dodge Ram and he’s never been intimidated by rust or needing to learn something new. So far he’s helped me with replacing CV axles, pressure switch/sensor issues, many other diagnostics, hooked me up with a cheap alignment shop, and provided detailed quotes on possible repairs. what a relief to find a genuine place like this one. this guy was recommended to me by the AutoZone that diagnosed my check engine light, and I can absolutely tell why I'm on the road, used to being upcharged by predatory mechanics and such, so it was such a refreshing experience to have my multiple van issues taken care of in the same day, in a careful and accommodating way, for the best price I could have imagined.
