A few years ago, I became the owner of a slightly used MINI Cooper S. Still being relatively new to the area and the car, I needed to find the best place to have it serviced and repaired, if needed. In the past, I defaulted to dealerships for service because I believe the mechanics train to have specific knowledge of a brand. I started with the local (San Antonio) area and took it to the dealership there. The experience was impersonal, at best. Knowing that I needed a new battery, a local garage directed me to Bavarian Auto Repair as an alternative. When I arrived, I was immediately welcomed by several guys who directed me where to park and took charge. Everyone made me feel right at home. They mounted and road force balanced 4 tires and did 4 wheel alignment. and my car drives as new. and they did not put any marks on rims from mounting tires or alignment tools. As the owner of more than 35 cars (not all at once!) I would say Bavarian A R is one of the best shops I have used. Very nice people. Thanks to Alfredo and Joey D at front desk. I highly recommend the Bavarian Auto Repair shop. I find the business to be a very reputable one, and the work is reliable. Throughout my experiences there, the front office staff has consistently demonstrated a professional demeanor with the manner in which they first greet me in such a pleasant tone of voice both in person and during telephone conversations. Awesome service! They did a whole diagnostic on my vehicle because it had a strange noise resulting in being that the harmonic balancer was unaligned. They were able to order a new part and fix everything up. My vehicle sounds and runs great now! Highly recommended! If you ever go there, ask for Joe or Derek which both of them helped me out throughout the whole process.
