Bay Area Smog

To Dennis, who was upset that his Porsche couldn't be serviced- please be understanding of small business owners. I think a bad review would be warranted for bad work, but to bring down someone's rating because they didn't feel comfortable working on your car seems harsh. Maybe that's just the rust bucket car owner in me ; ) I don't know anything about cars, could have easily been duped, and was treated so well! I needed a vehicle inspection for the DMV. I didn't really understand the process but knew what language to parrot? Said was amazing- he gave me a quick rundown on the phone of what I was talking about, scheduled me for like a day later, had me in and out with no fuss. That guy was scared to touch Porsche. I called him in advance and asked price and told about my vehicle. When I arrived, he started telling me all sorts of fairytales why he cannot do it. I drove a few blocks from his place and found someone who did it in 10 minutes for $20 bucks less. Stay away from this place unless you have a rust bucket and looking to overpay.

Im so happy i came here for a smog! The man that did my smog test was a super friendly, honest humble guy. I have a 2018 hyundai and he kept insisting to not do a smog and talk to dmv because my car is on the newer side. I feel like any other mechanic guy would be greedy and take my money. Well he ended up doing it anyways and let me stay inside the car with my kids while he worked on my car. His work was efficient and he took me in quickly. I did not have to wait too long.

Above and beyond. Came for a smog, then I asked about another issue on my 2006 Mitsubishi Montero. They fixed that too. Real friendly and knowledgeable guy. I'm glad to discover this shop.

Honest mechanics Do Exist. I asked what I thought was a smart question. It’s cold outside and I remembered my A/C wasnt blowing much in the summer. After getting my car quickly taken care of I asked about the A/C. “My car is 18 yrs old. Can you fix the A/C?”Mechanic said “Do you need the A/C now? if you still have this car is May we can talk about that then. What if you buy a newer car or this one is in an accident. Save your money and let’s see you in a few months “. OMG he made perfect sense and this week I’m going to go see about another car.
