BC Transmission

I found Nate through Google Reviews and feel very fortunate to have found him after having taken my 2021 Chevy Silverado in to the GM dealership in Gaylord twice and to Dave’s Garage twice in Gaylord. GM couldn’t figure out the lurching issue with my truck after 2 trips in, and after spending over $1000 at Dave’s Garage and getting a huge transmission replacement estimate from Dave’s I happened upon BC Transmission and Nate. Nate gave me a fair estimate and saved me at least $2000+, plus he replaced the front calipers and brake pads on my truck and had all repairs completed within 2.5 days which was impressive because this was Nate’s first GM 8 speed transmission install and the transmission needed computer programming as well. 1 year review - Better late than never I guess. I called Nate to have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler regeared to 5.13s on an Eaton Trutrac LSD front and rear. The information on this combo is lacking but Nate worked with me to gather the necessary info for the install. He quoted me for the work and I provided a majority of the parts. During the install he discovered premature wear on the Ujoints and ball joints and had them replaced while staying within the timeline. He called me with almost daily updates and progression. He did phenomenal work, within timeline, and kept to his quote with the addition of necessary parts. I had numerous problems with my 2005 Ford Explorer transmission. It was slipping and ready for the grave yard. I called numerous dealers, repair shops looking for a quote and answers to my problem. They were all too busy and very expensive to help out. I was fortunate enough to call Nate at BC Transmission. Nate was very helpful and offered his assistance immediately. I purchased a vehicle and was told it was going to need a complete transmission rebuild and control pack from the first shop I went to. I called BC transmission after googling shops in the area and the owner took the time to ask questions and explain common things to go wrong on this transmission which may not require a rebuild. I took my car to BC transmission and to my shock, the owner diagnosed a partially collapsed filter. A filter and fluid change, I have been driving the car since without issue. The shop literally saved my thousands of dollars. It pays to get a second opinion and I really appreciate that he honesty of this owner. I will be taking all of my vehicles to him going forward whether it needs a rebuild or not. Highly recommend!
