B&D Wheel Alignment and Brakes

Another bad review for these guys? You bet. I arrived and waited over an hour just so these guys could tell me. "We can't do your alignment because you have to mis-matched tires in the front " and I said to myself. Why couldn't they easily have used the two rear tires and switched them to the front and performed the alignment? Why? Because they just didn't want to. They get so much business they don't care about the average person who comes in need. I recommend Smart Tires on Somerset! They did the tire rotation and performed the alignment happily.

One time I came here to get a quote that has something to do with the car suspension or something close to it and it was for 2002 Honda Civic. There was a customer front of me that the got a cheaper quote but I got charged a little more even though there was a sign that stated the price of a quote. Wanted to charge me over $400 to change something within the suspension but when I went to another mechanic I was charged 200 less.

PROS:They checked the car thoroughly found the origin of my alignment problem as well as every problem I knew about and some that other shops missed. The alignment was spot on and only 70. They did work on the bushing and arms which I dont have much knowledge of pricing, but the end result was smooth and satisfactory. They took good effort to show me exactly what was wrong why its causing a problem and how it could lead to more. They also gave me many choices on how to divvy up and prioritize repairs. CONS: When I had already gave my car they called about a missing bolt which would run me 100 extra and with out it would make all the previous work pointless. They were good in showing me their reasoning and it does make sense but its suspicious and aggravating. FINAL THOUGHTS: would recomm

They fixed the suspension on my 23-year-old van that I'd been told in Tucson was done right, bu, in fact, was not. There was also a grinding sound I thought was normal. I hit a pothole in Long Beach really hard with brakes on. Through word of mouth, I found B&D. Now, not only is the wobble caused by the pothole gone (I thought mb the wheel would fall off), there's no grinding sound when the wheel is max turned, either way. I feel taken care of and appreciate their suggestions. YES, trust these guys. George is your point of contact.
