AVOID**** READ REVIEWS**** a family member needed a new battery and had questions about why it was so expensive (over 500 and thats absolutely ridiculous I don't care about "how many other customers paid the same") and he began yelling, swearing, humiliating and making her feel very uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this shop at all costs. If you have a friend that recommends, ignore them. If you see them having the best sale on earth drive by. If you know ONE person that had a good experience consider it a one off. AVOID!

Would give ZERO stars at this moment if I could !!! My car is being held HOSTAGE !! Scenario: I spoke with Tim on Wednesday November 26th. This was the day before Thanksgiving. My car had stopped suddenly as I was driving it on US1 near Harborside. All of the lights came on and then it died. It was terrifying. I was able turn it off, and after a minute it DID start up. I was able to drive it home. I did not feel comfortable attempting to drive it to the dealership, and Beards was ~4 miles from my home. Tim said to leave it in the lot on Thursday (Thanksgiving) and he would look at it on Friday. So I waited patiently throughout the weekend. This morning, Monday December 1, 2025 at 8:08 AM, I sent Tim a text asking if he did look at my car on Friday. I got three words back: "on a cruise"

Brought my truck in with 3 very specific things to fix after getting those itemized from dealer. Called me back and said the job was almost double the quote from the dealer. I told him to hold off. He said he already did the work. Turns out it was higher because he added $900 worth of coils that weren't on my original request. When I picked up the truck, the check engine light was on. It wasn't even on when I took it in. Now I'm taking it back to the dealer. I would seek out another auto repair shop that is clear with quotes ahead of time and willing to call before doing additional work. I'm not one of the many rich famous people who's pictures are on the walls of the shop. Normal people, who need to maintain their primary cars in order to work and must consider budgets, also live in Ju

So comically bad. I had a turbo leak fixed w no issue and brakes done w no issue. Tim Beard seemed nice enough. That's the end of the good news. On my Juke A TIRE REPAIR took multiple visits. On my Versa it took multiple visits to finally hook up the computer and diagnose a misfiring cylinder. After telling me twice before it was something else and was now running fine and sending me home w the same problem. Most recently my 1981 corvette broke down 2 miles away from picking it up from Beard's garage. And apparently broke my power seat and said they never touched my power seat. I called and let Tim Beard know I was "disappointed" (my exact word). And began to explain my experience. Tim interrupted and immediately started shouting me down, telling me if I was unhappy I can go someplace

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this shop. I brought my classic car in for a brake repair. I supplied them with new parts to finish the rear drum assembly. they never even installed the new parts. Got in the car home and it was making noise so I pulled it part to find that they did absolutely nothing. When I returned it, he wanted to argue with me and yell at his worker, and cause a big scene. Like it was my fault that they did not do their job. They also installed a water pump that I did not authorize them to do. most shops will have the courtesy of giving you a call and asking you if they would like to replace something before they just do it. I can’t believe that they are still in business.
