Bellmore Towing & Complete Automotive Repair

Hello everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with this company. I accidentally locked my keys in my car and called them for assistance. From the start, they had a terrible attitude on the phone and were very unprofessional. Despite this, I needed their service, so I paid them upfront before they would send someone to my location. The person who arrived claimed to be a professional, but he didn't even have any tools with him and couldn't open my car. I called and called, but they never refunded my money. They are not professional at all, and I'm sharing this so that the same thing doesn't happen to you.

Total SCAM!!!!! I called to get assistance cuz I left my keys inside the car. They wanted me to pay upfront if not they would not come. I asked why and how can I know its not a scam. They guaranteed the service because they were “TRIPLE AAA, 48 years companyy blah blah blah” I sent the money cuz we were in the cold waiting. He got there with very simple tools and was not able to do nothing for half hour. He left and when I tried to call to get my money back they said no, because we needed to provide proof of the other company that opened it. He never said that before, we had a friend come over to and he doesn’t have receipt. They were not helpful, very unprofessional, heartless, rude and TOTALLY A SCAM!!!! I'm not one to leave a bad review I'd rather say nothing at all. However, these guys are scumbags! My boss brought his car to these people only to have them try to extort him. The car is a BMW SUV and had a coolant issue. We were told the car needed a preliminary estimate of close to 6k. We were being fear mongered into believing the car needed a whole new cooling system, engine cooler, and they even started the conversation of the engine most likely damaged. We went to retrieve the car and were told we couldn't take it, we were told no report would be given and we were called insulting names by the clearly drunk employees. Since then, we brought the car to a certified BMW dealer they did tell us we needed new radiator hoses and some coolant. The end result was a $900 bill most of it was l

Have had 2 experiences with Bellmore Towing through AAA. Both highly positive, most recent being with tow driver Chris. Had a flat with no spare. Showed up in less than 30 minutes, super friendly and helpful. Just all around good guy and professional. Time before was for dead battery. Same experience, quick response and arrival, driver went above and beyond while being friendly and courteous. A pleasure to deal with in frustrating situation.
