After driving my last car for 23 years, I found a great deal on a new Taos with the help of Solomon Lefleur at the Oshkosh VW Bergstrom dealership. Unfortunately purchased a new 2022 lemon that burns oil and its now junk… For 4 years, I have expressed my concerns for the abnormal oil consumption, poor acceleration and issues with needing to add a quart of oil every 3 months. I was told this was “normal” for VW. Fast forward to today, I am out of warranty, and was told the engine is calcified due to burning oil and I would need to spend 8k to repair. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Will not get another VW.
