Bethany House Apartment Building

Bethany House Rockville, MD. A friend of my aunt,s moved here. As other reviewers' have stated, life started off—just ok. There have been several management changes and a change in ownership. Though this was/is a place where people with limited economic resources end up—there's no excuse for the disrespect residents endure. Constant pest infestations, appliance breakdown, plumbing issues, and wholly inadequate maintenance. They bill people for services they didn't request and give back lengthy delays and endless excuses before they issue any refund. The current manager T_____, has no financial or managerial experience needs replacing. (The residents almost always look sad and I'm sad that I can't free them.)

My mom lived at Bethany House for six years, and unfortunately, while it started off as a good experience, it took a serious turn for the worse in the last year and a half. In the beginning, everything was great — the staff was friendly, the building was fairly clean, and she felt comfortable there. But over time, things completely changed. For almost two years, my mom dealt with a roach infestation in her apartment. She submitted multiple complaints, and management never followed up or took action to spray or properly address the issue. On top of that, the management became extremely unhelpful and disorganized. They continued to charge her for parking even though she no longer had a designated parking spot. They also repeatedly told her she had a balance due, despite her having proof of

Where is the info on this retirement housing? The only item in "About" is that both the building entrance & the parking lot are wheelchair accessible. I need more info than that.

Hello My name is Darnice Murray and I am the manager at Wesley House senior Apartments. I really hope that the manager at this property is not as rude as the person that answered the phone name Loretta Moore. This is a bad reflection on the staff at the Bethany House. I only call to do a market survey and she hung up the phone without ending the call. Thank you

I had “tour “ of this facility recently and I was very unimpressed, I would not recommend this Apt. to anybody , They couldn’t find the keys for a bout 15 minutes to the Apt I was supposed to see and ended up viewing another “ like that one “ Apt. the “housing person “ barely said anything about the unit and I walked around the unit on my own , seen dead bugs on the supposedly cleaned carpet , dead insects in one of the windows , the appliances was subpar and supposedly it was a “new” kitchen and the “housing specialist “ person was not professional at all , the whole experience was bad , and none of the residents spoke 🤦‍♂️👎👎👎
