Bickford of Worthington

We had to pick an assisted living community for my mother on short notice. The Bickford was recommended to me by a fellow nurse. It has been a wonderful experience for my family. It was not what my mother nor we had planned for her at this time, but the welcoming atmosphere, small space and number of residents and kind and compassionate care has made it home for her. The activities keep her engaged and active and she has many wonderful friends. I would recommend the Bickford to anyone looking for assisted living.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel how warm and welcoming the atmosphere is. The staff truly care about every resident — they go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and loved. The building is always clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, and the activities keep residents active and engaged. What stands out most is how personal the care feels. The team takes the time to get to know each resident and treat them like family. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be genuinely cared for and treated with compassion, Bickford of Worthington is the perfect choice. I have deep care and appreciation for the staff and current management of this facility. My mom spent the final five 1/2 years of her life at Bickford ( 4 1/2 in Memory Care) and I was very pleased with the quality of care that she received. The staff is kind and engaged. It was not the life I hoped for her - due to her dementia - but it was a life where she had a routine, ate well, had friends, laughed and told her stories. I will be forever thankful.

Bickford provides a welcoming and caring environment. The staff is attentive and friendly. The community feels like home!

Bickford of Worthington is the brst assisted living and Memory care. If you are looking for a place for your loved one visit the Branch. i have volunteered there for years. The staff care deeply for the residents. Glasgow Hockett is an amazing person. I am happy she is the Executive Director now.
